A promise for you to wear
When I chose to include the Leaf model in the wedding ring catalogue, many friends and colleagues turned their noses up at it.
“Leaves are beautiful, but they are not wedding rings”, as if there could only be one kind of wedding ring. One traditional, unchanging ring. I don’t think it’s true. To me, the wedding ring is a symbol that we wear, that holds a significant meaning and promises that we are aware of. What makes a wedding ring immutable and unique is the true meaning it holds, not its appearance. Years later, I know that I made the right choice; many future spouses have chosen these rings, finding them somewhat familiar and a perfect symbol of their union.
How our wedding rings are created
Any shape, texture or design, especially in nature, can give us the right inspiration for creating new models of wedding rings.
Of all the stages of the creative process, the bench test, where I am face to face with metal, is certainly the most interesting for me. In fact, I consider the material component of a ring to be as important as its aesthetic qualities.
